I happened to take a bag I made to a quilt shop in 2007 and was asked if I would like to sell the bag's pattern, which led to the start of this business. I realized that people liked the patterns I created, and I also enjoyed this work very much. So, together with my friend June, we opened our first shop on Etsy in 2008 and launched ithinksew.com in 2008, which was the first pattern site where PDFs could be automatically downloaded.
We've been running the business ever since. Currently, our website has 350,000 members from around the world. During this time, I have written five books through an American publisher and have contributed as a co-author to seven books. Initially, it was just June and me working, but now my daughter, daughters-in-law, and June's daughter are working with us. We are involved in not only sewing but also embroidery and custom orders dress.
