Victoria Yahara Studio
Hand carved & hand printed linocut prints inspired by the Language of Flowers
Victoria Yahara is a local linocut printmaker who designs and draws illustrations that are then transferred to a Lino block and delicately carved out. She then inks the block and prints it onto fine art paper with a small hand-operated printing press. Everything is hand done from start to finish! She is inspired by motherhood, local wildlife and the botanical symbolism of the Language of Flowers. Her love of symbolic botanicals is reflected in her linocut series that uses flowers to depict different themes such as Love, Friendship & Motherhood. She creates fine art linocut prints, tea towels, greeting cards and tote bags with her designs.
