Hilary's love of typography and the use of language has been a common thread throughout her career. Calm and balance has not! After many years in the advertising, marketing and editorial industries, her desire to establish a more balanced lifestyle, where her family life and love of design could coexist, brought Hilary to create Raincity Prints.
From a fledgling Etsy shop opened in 2014, Raincity Prints has grown in scope and distribution. Still based from home and still a one-woman show, Hilary now creates a wide line of art prints, greeting cards and typographic gifts like tableware and enamel pins, available through her Etsy shop and also at local markets and boutiques throughout the Lower Mainland, Canada and the US.
While the messages in her typographic work range from literary quotes to modern musings on life and wine, Hilary hopes they all do one thing: bring a smile to each and every person that come across her designs.
