Hand carved & hand printed linocut prints inspired by the Language of Flowers
I am a printmaker inspired by the botanical symbolism of the Language of Flowers. I transfer my illustrations to a lino block and delicately carve my design out. I roll the lino block with archival oil-based ink and print it onto fine art paper with a small hand-operated printing press. Everything is done by hand from start to finish. For my symbolic botanical series, I inscribe each flower with its meaning at the bottom of the artwork. I find beauty and serenity in the little imperfections of each one-of-a-kind print.
I create fine art linocut prints, tea towels, notebooks, greeting cards, stickers and ornaments with my designs.
